The bill requires the website to include links to emergency information and wildfire updates for each county. The division must coordinate with county governments to gather the necessary information. State Expenditures The bill will increase workload in the DPS to coordinate with county governments and post the new information on the Division of Fire Prevention and Control’s website. This increase is assumed to be minimal and no change in appropriations is required. Local Government Counties will have a minimal workload impact to coordinate information-sharing with the DPS. Effective Date The bill takes effect 90 days following adjournment of the General Assembly sine die, assuming no referendum petition is filed.
