This bill adds private, non-profit hospitals with fewer than 50 beds to the list of facilities approved to enter into collaborative agreements. State Expenditures Workload will minimally increase for the Department of Health Care Policy and Financing, Department of Regulatory Agencies, and Department of Law to evaluate any additional collaborative agreements submitted by private, nonprofit hospitals. This workload is expected to be minimal and can be absorbed within existing resources. Effective Date The bill takes effect 90 days following adjournment of the General Assembly sine die, assuming no referendum petition is filed.
