Committee on Legal Services. The bill enacts the softbound
volumes of the Colorado Revised Statutes 2024, the subsequent changes
approved by the voters at the statewide election on November 5, 2024,
and the 2024 Colorado Second Extraordinary Session Supplement as the
positive and statutory law of the state of Colorado and establishes the

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the State of Colorado:1
SECTION 1. In Colorado Revised Statutes, 2-5-126, add (2)(bb)2
as follows:3
2-5-126. Annual enactment of Colorado Revised Statutes -4
validation - effective date. (2) The annual statutes, copies of which shall5
be delivered to each member of the general assembly, together with a6
listing of the revisor's changes, constitute the official report of the7
committee on legal services and are hereby enacted in accordance with8
this section as follows:9

OLORADO OF A GENERAL AND PERMANENT NATURE ORIGINALLY12
ENACTED IN "COLORADO REVISED STATUTES 1973", INCLUDING13
SUBSEQUENT ENACTMENTS MADE PURSUANT TO SECTION 2-5-125, AND14
ALL OF THE LAWS OF THE STATE OF COLORADO OF A GENERAL AND15
PERMANENT NATURE ENACTED AT THE SECOND REGULAR SESSION OF THE16
SEVENTY-FOURTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY , THE SECOND EXTRAORDINARY17
SESSION OF THE SEVENTY-FOURTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY, AND AS APPROVED18
BY THE VOTERS AT THE STATEWIDE ELECTION ON NOVEMBER 5, 2024. THE19
EFFECTIVE DATE FOR COLORADO REVISED STATUTES 2024 IS FIXED AS THE20
FIRST DAY THAT IS NOT A SATURDAY, SUNDAY, OR LEGAL HOLIDAY21
FOLLOWING THE EFFECTIVE DATE OF THIS SUBSECTION (2)(bb).22
SECTION 2. Safety clause. The general assembly finds,23
determines, and declares that this act is necessary for the immediate24
preservation of the public peace, health, or safety or for appropriations for25
