Joint Budget Committee. The bill reduces the transfer from the
limited gaming fund to the advanced industries acceleration cash fund for
state fiscal year 2025-26 from $5,500,000 to $1,840,000.

SECTION 1. In Colorado Revised Statutes, 44-30-701, amend2
(2)(a)(II); and add (2)(d) as follows:3
44-30-701.  Limited gaming fund - created - repeal.4
(2) (a)  Except as provided in subsection (2)(b) of this section, at the end5
of the 2012-13 state fiscal year and at the end of each state fiscal year6
thereafter, the state treasurer shall transfer the state share as follows:7
(II)  For the 2014-15 state fiscal year and each state fiscal year8
thereafter, 
EXCEPT AS OTHERWISE PROVIDED IN SUBSECTION (2)(d) OF THIS9
SECTION FOR THE 2025-26 STATE FISCAL YEAR, five million five hundred10
thousand dollars to the advanced industries acceleration cash fund created11
in section 24-48.5-117;12

OR THE 2025-26 STATE FISCAL YEAR, THE STATE13
TREASURER SHALL TRANSFER ONE MILLION EIGHT HUNDRED FORTY14
THOUSAND DOLLARS TO THE ADVANCED INDUSTRIES ACCELERATION CASH15
FUND CREATED IN SECTION 24-48.5-117.16
(II)  T
HIS SUBSECTION (2)(d) IS REPEALED, EFFECTIVE JULY 1, 2027. 17
SECTION 2. Act subject to petition - effective date. This act18
takes effect at 12:01 a.m. on the day following the expiration of the19
ninety-day period after final adjournment of the general assembly; except20
that, if a referendum petition is filed pursuant to section 1 (3) of article V21
of the state constitution against this act or an item, section, or part of this22
act within such period, then the act, item, section, or part will not take23
effect unless approved by the people at the general election to be held in24
November 2026 and, in such case, will take effect on the date of the25
official declaration of the vote thereon by the governor.26
