AN ACT CONCERNING PILOT PAYMENTS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That the general statutes be amended to provide that for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2011, the state shall make payments in lieu of taxes to each municipality in an amount that is not less than the amount received by such municipality for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2010.
Statement of Purpose:
To prevent municipalities from experiencing large budget shortfalls.
