AN ACT CONCERNING A TAX CREDIT FOR FIRST-TIME HOME BUYERS.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:

That the general statutes be amended to provide a tax credit for first-time home buyers. Such buyers who purchase a home within the maximum price limits set by the Connecticut Housing Finance Authority may take advantage of a four-thousand-dollar tax credit on their personal income tax.

Statement of Purpose: 

To create a four-thousand-dollar tax credit for first-time home buyers.
