AN ACT CONCERNING THE QUARANTINE OF BITING GUIDE DOGS.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:

That section 22-358 of the general statutes be amended to exempt guide dogs, in the same manner as police dogs are exempted, from the provisions of the section providing for the quarantine of a dog that bites a person. 

Statement of Purpose: 

To provide protections for blind people and their guide dogs.
