AN ACT CONCERNING EDUCATION FOR MUNICIPAL AND STATE POLICE OFFICERS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That chapters 104 and 529 of the general statutes be amended to require municipal and state police officers to obtain an associate degree not later than the date five years after the date on which such officers are sworn.
Statement of Purpose:
To develop more highly educated municipal and state police forces.
