AN ACT CONCERNING THE STATE BUDGET ACT AND BUDGET ADJUSTMENT BILL.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That section 2-35 of the general statutes be amended to clarify that no legislation other than that necessary to implement its provisions be included in any state budget act or any bill adjusting expenditures for the ensuing fiscal year.
Statement of Purpose:
To require that the biennial budget bill and budget adjustment bill include only items that are fiscal in nature or are related to the implementation of the budget.
