AN ACT INCREASING ANCHORAGE AND MOORING FEES PAID TO HARBOR MASTERS.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:

That section 22a-113s of the general statutes be amended to increase anchorage and mooring fees paid to harbor masters by not less than ten per cent and to require such increase to be paid to the shoreline towns and the towns located on rivers that empty into Long Island Sound.

Statement of Purpose: 

To ensure that a percentage of anchorage and mooring fees be directed to the towns that bear the burden of such activities.
