AN ACT CONCERNING AN EXEMPTION FROM THE BUSINESS ENTITY TAX FOR SMALL BUSINESSES.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That section 12-284b of the general statutes be amended to exempt businesses with ten or fewer employees from the tax.
Statement of Purpose:
To help promote the growth of small businesses in the state by exempting them from the business entity tax.
