AN ACT PROVIDING FREE ADMISSION TO STATE PARKS AND FORESTS FOR STATE RESIDENTS WHO SERVE IN THE MILITARY.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:

That the general statutes be amended to provide free admission to any state park or forest recreational area for any state resident who presents a valid military identification card indicating service in the United States Army, Navy, Marine Corps, Coast Guard, Air Force or any reserve component thereof, including the Connecticut National Guard.

Statement of Purpose: 

To recognize those who serve in the military by providing free admission to any state park or forest recreational area for any state resident who presents a valid military identification card.
