AN ACT CONCERNING HOMEOWNERS INSURANCE COVERAGE BASED ON BREED OF DOG.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That title 38a of the general statutes be amended to prohibit insurers from underwriting any policy for personal lines insurance, as defined in section 38a-663 of the general statutes, based on the breed of dog owned by the insured.
Statement of Purpose:
To prohibit insurers from underwriting personal lines insurance based on the breed of dog owned by the insured.
