AN ACT CONCERNING THE VALUE OF A TOTALLED MOTOR VEHICLE.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That section 38a-353 of the general statutes be amended to require insurers to use two publicly available automobile industry sources, approved by the Insurance Commissioner, in calculating the value of a totalled motor vehicle for purposes of determining the settlement amount of such vehicle to be paid to the claimant.
Statement of Purpose:
