AN ACT CONCERNING DESIGNATED REHABILITATION AREAS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That section 12-65e of the general statutes be amended to provide that a municipality may fix the tax assessment of any property in a designated rehabilitation area on which the property owner agrees to construct condominiums or mixed-use or commercial developments.
Statement of Purpose:
To expand the type of development for which a municipality may fix a tax assessment in a designated rehabilitation area.
