AN ACT PROHIBITING HEALTH CARE WORKERS WHO WORK IN SKILLED NURSING FACILITIES FROM BEING FINANCIAL INVESTORS IN SUCH FACILITIES.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That section 368v of the general statutes be amended to prohibit health care professionals, including, but not limited to, the chief medical officer of a skilled nursing facility from being financial investors of the same facility.
Statement of Purpose:
To prevent professional conflicts of interest for the health care staff of a skilled nursing facility by prohibiting such staff from being financial investors in the facility.
