AN ACT CONCERNING INCENTIVES FOR SCHOOL DISTRICTS THAT USE RESEARCH-BASED PRACTICES FOR COMBATING SCHOOL BULLYING.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:

That title 10 of the general statutes be amended to provide incentives for local and regional boards of education that use research-based practices to identify and prevent bullying and cyberbullying in schools.

Statement of Purpose: 

To provide incentives to school districts that use research-based practices to identify and prevent bullying so as to create a safe school environment for students.
