AN ACT CONCERNING A STATE SONG OF REMEMBRANCE.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That the general statutes be amended to designate the song "Taps", composed by Daniel Butterfield, as the state song of remembrance.
Statement of Purpose:
To designate the song "Taps", performed by the honor guard at the funerals of members of the armed forces killed in action and the funerals of certain honorably discharged veterans, as the state song of remembrance.
