AN ACT AUTHORIZING BONDS OF THE STATE FOR THE KLEIN MEMORIAL AUDITORIUM IN BRIDGEPORT.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That the State Bond Commission be empowered to authorize the issuance of bonds of the state in accordance with section 3-20 of the general statutes, in principal amounts not exceeding in the aggregate three million dollars, the proceeds of which shall be used by the Department of Economic and Community Development for the purpose of providing a grant-in-aid to the city of Bridgeport for the renovation and refurbishing of Klein Memorial Auditorium.
Statement of Purpose:
To provide bond funds for the renovation and refurbishing of Klein Memorial Auditorium in Bridgeport.
