AN ACT CONCERNING HOME IMPROVEMENT CONTRACTORS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That the general statutes be amended to require any party seeking a home improvement contractor license to have passed an exam administered by the Department of Consumer Protection.
Statement of Purpose:
To require home improvement contractors to demonstrate a basic knowledge of their trade.
