AN ACT CONSOLIDATING THE LEGISLATIVE COMMISSIONS.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:

That the general statutes be amended to consolidate the Commission on Aging, Permanent Commission on the Status of Women, Commission on Children, African-American Affairs Commission, Asian Pacific-American Affairs Commission and Latino and Puerto Rican Affairs Commission into one commission.

Statement of Purpose: 

To help reduce the size of government by combining all of the existing legislative commissions into one commission.
