AN ACT CONCERNING HAZING AT INSTITUTIONS OF HIGHER EDUCATION.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That the general statutes be amended to hold institutions of higher education liable for any physical, psychological or emotional injuries caused to a student by on-campus hazing.
Statement of Purpose:
To require institutions of higher education to provide a safe educational environment for students and to hold such institutions liable for injuries suffered by students as a result of on-campus hazing.
