AN ACT CONCERNING EVIDENCE OF DOMESTIC VIOLENCE IN CHILD CUSTODY CASES.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That section 46b-56 of the general statutes be amended to require the court to consider evidence of domestic violence when making or modifying a child custody order.
Statement of Purpose:
To protect children from domestic violence by requiring courts to consider evidence of domestic violence in child custody cases.
