AN ACT AUTHORIZING BONDS OF THE STATE FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF A PARKING GARAGE FOR OPTIMUS HEALTH CARE.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That the State Bond Commission be empowered to authorize the issuance of bonds of the state in accordance with section 3-20 of the general statutes, in principal amounts not exceeding in the aggregate two million dollars, the proceeds of which shall be used by the Department of Economic and Community Development for the purpose of providing a grant to Optimus Health Care, Inc. for the construction of a parking facility to serve its clinic at 982 East Main Street in Bridgeport.
Statement of Purpose:
To provide funds for the construction of a parking facility for Optimus Health Care, Inc. in order to alleviate traffic congestion and parking problems associated with the clinic.
