AN ACT AUTHORIZING REGIONAL ASSETS INVESTMENTS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That the general statutes be amended to authorize regional councils of governments and councils of elected officials to operate as regional assets districts to promote and fund regional assets, including civic, recreational, cultural, and transportation facilities and projects and regional libraries.
Statement of Purpose:
To implement the recommendations of the Regional Assets Ad Hoc Study Committee for investment in regional assets.
