AN ACT CONCERNING TAX CREDITS FOR TRANSPORTATION-SUPPORTIVE INDUSTRIES AND JOBS.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:

That the general statutes be amended to authorize tax credits to spur the growth of home-grown or relocated industries that will provide the goods and services needed to achieve and support Connecticut's long-term transportation goals, assist the state's ongoing investment in transportation improvements, create and sustain more jobs in Connecticut and result in a greater percentage of our state transportation funds being spent within Connecticut.

Statement of Purpose:

To establish tax credits to provide support for the state's long-term needs to improve and develop its transportation systems, including its highway system, airports, ports and rail infrastructure.
