AN ACT CONCERNING SMALL BUSINESSES AND THE CENTRAL REGISTRY OF THE SECRETARY OF THE STATE.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That chapter 33 of the general statutes be amended to require (1) the Commercial Recording Division of the office of the Secretary of the State to place on its central registry any data regarding small and residence-based businesses annotated with appropriate contact information, and aggregated by town, region and category of business; and (2) such aggregated data be made available electronically and in printed form to the public upon request.
Statement of Purpose:
To make information on small and home-based businesses available on the office of the Secretary of the State's Internet web site.
