AN ACT CONCERNING THE URBAN HOMESTEADING PILOT PROGRAM.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:

That the general statutes be amended to require the Connecticut Housing Finance Authority, in consultation with the Department of Economic and Community Development, to establish a pilot program to promote the revitalization and stabilization of urban neighborhoods by encouraging home ownership by persons who will become owner occupants of two to four-family homes.

Statement of Purpose: 

To promote the revitalization and stabilization of urban neighborhoods by encouraging owner occupation of residences.
