AN ACT PROHIBITING THE POSSESSION, USE, SALE OR MARKETING OF MEXICAN SALVIA. Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened: That chapter 420b of the general statutes be amended to prohibit the possession, use, sale or marketing of Mexican salvia in any form including liquid or powder forms. Statement of Purpose: To protect state residents, especially children, by banning Mexican salvia, a plant that can be used as an hallucinogenic substance.
