AN ACT AUTHORIZING THERESA JEFFRIES TO BRING A CIVIL ACTION AGAINST THE STATE.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That, notwithstanding the provisions of section 4-148 of the general statutes, Theresa Jeffries is authorized to institute and prosecute to final judgment an action against the state of Connecticut to recover damages as compensation for personal injuries suffered by her on January 18, 2006.
Statement of Purpose:
To authorize Theresa Jeffries to bring an action against the state to recover damages as compensation for personal injury suffered by her on January 18, 2006.
