AN ACT CONCERNING INSURANCE AND BOND REQUIREMENTS FOR PERSONS WORKING IN A STATE HIGHWAY RIGHT-OF-WAY.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That the general statutes be amended to authorize the Commissioner of Transportation to waive insurance and bond requirements for a person working in a state highway right-of-way.
Statement of Purpose:
To allow the DOT Commissioner to waive insurance and bond requirements for individuals in the same way the commissioner may waive such requirements for municipalities.
