AN ACT CONCERNING SAFE BOATING CERTIFICATES AND THE RENTAL OF VESSELS BY BOAT LIVERYPERSONS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That sections 15-140e and 15-150 of the general statutes, concerning safe boating certificates and the rental of vessels by boat liverypersons, be amended to require a boat liveryperson, prior to the rental of a vessel, to administer an examination and issue such certificate to any person required to have such certificate, and to require liverypersons and operators of vessels to retain examinations and to carry appropriate certificates on board a vessel, respectively.
Statement of Purpose:
To improve boating safety.
