AN ACT CONCERNING MINORITY BUSINESS ENTERPRISES AND THE STATE SET-ASIDE PROGRAM.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That section 4a-60g of the general statutes be amended to require the state to conduct disparity studies concerning the legitimacy of minority business enterprises granted contracts pursuant to the state set-aside program.
Statement of Purpose:
To ensure that state contracts are awarded to legitimate minority-owned businesses.
