AN ACT CONCERNING THE ISSUANCE OF "VINTAGE" LICENSE PLATES FOR ANTIQUE VEHICLES MANUFACTURED IN A FOREIGN COUNTRY.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That the Department of Motor Vehicles shall offer license plates with the legend "Vintage" as an option for owners of antique vehicles, and that the department shall charge a fee to cover the cost of such plates.
Statement of Purpose:
To make available, for a fee, special license plates with the legend "Vintage", for owners of antique vehicles. The only such plate now available says "Early American", and is not accurate for foreign antique vehicles.
