AN ACT CONCERNING ILLEGAL STREET RACING.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That subsection (h) of section 14-224 of the general statutes be amended to provide that any person who is convicted of illegal street racing shall have his or her motor vehicle impounded for thirty days and be responsible for paying the costs of such impoundment.
Statement of Purpose:
To discourage illegal street racing by requiring the impoundment of the motor vehicle of any person who engages in illegal street racing.
