AN ACT CONCERNING THE EMPLOYMENT OF INMATES.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That chapter 325 of the general statutes be amended to put inmates to work in agricultural, manufacturing, industrial or commercial fields by requiring them to undertake certain occupations while serving their term of imprisonment and to provide that such inmates shall continue to be subject to supervision by personnel of the Department of Correction while they are engaged in such work.
Statement of Purpose:
To require incarcerated prisoners to work while serving their prison sentence.
