AN ACT CONCERNING THE PENALTY FOR ASSAULT OF PUBLIC SAFETY PERSONNEL.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That section 53a-167c of the general statutes be amended to require the imposition of a mandatory minimum term of imprisonment on any person convicted of assault of public safety personnel.
Statement of Purpose:
To impose a mandatory minimum sentence for assault of public safety personnel.
