AN ACT CONCERNING ELECTRONIC TRANSACTIONS WITH STATE AGENCIES.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
Section 1. (NEW) (Effective October 1, 2011) No state agency shall charge a separate or additional fee to perform a transaction by electronic means.
This act shall take effect as follows and shall amend the following sections:

Statement of Purpose:
To prohibit state agencies from charging a fee for the performance of electronic transactions.
