AN ACT CONCERNING SURETY BAIL BOND AGENTS AND PROFESSIONAL BONDSMEN.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That titles 38a and 29a of the general statutes be amended to increase the oversight authority of the Insurance Department and the Department of Public Safety to regulate surety bail bond agents and professional bondsmen, respectively.
Statement of Purpose:
To improve the regulation of surety bail bond agents and professional bondsmen in this state.
