AN ACT PROHIBITING THE SALE OR USE OF FISHING SINKERS, JIGS AND TIRE WEIGHTS THAT CONTAIN LEAD.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That the general statutes be amended to prohibit the sale or use in the state of fishing sinkers, jigs and tire weights that contain lead.
Statement of Purpose:
To reduce the lead poisoning of birds and fish.
