AN ACT CONCERNING ALTERNATIVES TO PROPERTY TAX.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That the general statutes be amended to enable municipalities to raise revenue by alternative means to the property tax, provided any municipality utilizing such alternative means provide a commensurate property tax reduction.
Statement of Purpose:
To reduce the property tax burden.
