AN ACT CONCERNING ACCESS TO ORIGINAL BIRTH CERTIFICATES AND MEDICAL RECORDS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That chapter 93 of the general statutes be amended to provide that adults who were adopted as children shall be allowed access to their original birth certificates and medical records.
Statement of Purpose:
To ensure that all adults who seek access to their original birth certificates and medical records are permitted to do so.
