AN ACT CONCERNING THE PREVENTION OF CONVICTED FELONS FROM RECEIVING STATE SOCIAL SERVICE BENEFITS.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:

That title 17b of the general statutes be amended to prohibit a person convicted of a felony from receiving benefits under state administered social service programs.

Statement of Purpose: 

To require that persons receiving state aid are law abiding citizens.
