AN ACT CONCERNING PUBLIC WORKS PROJECTS AND THE PREVAILING WAGE.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That section 31-53 of the general statutes be amended to raise the prevailing wage threshold for new construction and remodeling, refurbishing, rehabilitation, alteration and repairs performed on public works projects.
Statement of Purpose:
To raise the prevailing wage threshold to accurately reflect the cost of doing business in today's market.
