AN ACT EXPANDING THE DEFINITION OF A CLASS I RENEWABLE ENERGY SOURCE.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That section 16-1 of the general statutes be amended to expand the definition of "class I renewable energy source" to include waste heat recovered from a public wastewater treatment plant.
Statement of Purpose:
To include waste heat recovered from a public wastewater treatment plant in the definition of a class I renewable energy source.
