AN ACT CONCERNING A COORDINATED EARLY CHILDHOOD EDUCATION SYSTEM.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That the general statutes be amended to establish a division within the Office of Policy and Management that will be responsible for coordinating the various funding sources for programs related to early childhood education and services, facilitating a public-private partnership for such early childhood education and services and assisting parents in accessing such early childhood education and services.
Statement of Purpose:
To establish a means by which to coordinate the various entities and funding sources for early childhood education and services.
