AN ACT PROHIBITING CELLULAR AND PERSONAL COMMUNICATION SYSTEMS TOWERS AT SCHOOLS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That title 10 of the general statutes be amended to prohibit local zoning or other land use agencies or local and regional boards of education from permitting a developer of cellular and personal communication towers to locate such towers on or at a school building.
Statement of Purpose:
To protect school children from potentially adverse health effects of communications towers by prohibiting such towers from being located at or placed on a school building.
