AN ACT ADOPTING THE NATIONAL CONFERENCE OF INSURANCE LEGISLATORS' LIFE INSURANCE CONSUMER DISCLOSURE MODEL ACT.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That the general statutes be amended to adopt the National Conference of Insurance Legislators' Life Insurance Consumer Disclosure Model Act.
Statement of Purpose:
To require disclosure to life insurance policy owners of alternatives to the lapse or surrender of such policies and of such owner's rights related to the disposition of such policy by adopting the National Conference of Insurance Legislators' Life Insurance Consumer Disclosure Model Act.
