AN ACT REDUCING SALARIES OF CERTAIN STATE EMPLOYEES AND OFFICIALS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That the general statutes be amended, effective immediately, to reduce the salaries of all elected officials and all state employees exempt from classified service by at least five per cent.
Statement of Purpose:
To begin to address the state's budget crisis by reducing the salaries of all elected officials and certain state employees by at least five per cent.
