AN ACT CONCERNING LIABILITY TO NURSING HOMES UNDER TITLE XIX OF THE SOCIAL SECURITY ACT.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That chapter 368v of the general statutes be amended to require nursing homes to ensure that relatives and conservators of nursing home patients are fully and fairly informed concerning their obligations as responsible parties for the nursing home patients.
Statement of Purpose:
To require nursing homes to fully and fairly inform relatives and conservators of nursing home patients of their obligations as responsible parties for the nursing home patients.
